Breakaway is een lunch en diner restaurant gelegen in hartje Zuid-Limburg op een mooie locatie aan de rand van het Savelsbos. Het is zo’n 10 minuutjes met de auto vanuit Maastricht. En een halfuurtje fietsen. We zijn 365 dagen per jaar geopend, van 9-21 uur. Onze gasten bestaan voornamelijk uit vaste gasten. Maar ook wandelaars, fietsers en vakantiegangers. Altijd mensen met goede zin dus 🙂

Functieomschrijving:

Breakaway is een knus zaakje. Omdat het niet zo groot is, doen we alles samen. De ene keer sta je hartjes te maken op de cappuccino. De andere keer wandel je met het dienblad in de zon op het terras. Dan help je mee met met je keukencollega met het bereiden van ons oesterzwammen zuurvlees. En iedereens grootste passie is natuurlijk: de afwas. Al met al ondersteunen we elkaar waar nodig.

We are open 365 days a year, from 9 AM to 9 PM. Most of our guests are regulars, but we also frequently welcome hikers, cyclists, and people on a holiday. Always people in a good mood 🙂

Breakaway is a cozy restaurant. Since we’re not that big, we work closely together on all tasks as a team. The main focus of this role is in the kitchen, preferably on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, or only during the weekend is an option too. Occasionally, you might also help out behind the bar as a barista (don’t worry, we’ll teach you everything you need to know). We also share responsibility for keeping everything clean. All in all, we support each other wherever needed.

Espresso Quartier is a specialty coffee café in the Jekerkwartier, known as the Quartier Latin of Maastricht, right between several university faculties. Open every day from 8-18. We serve breakfast, lunch, and homemade cakes. We are passionate about great coffee. And above all, about people.

Job description:

Espresso Quartier is a cozy coffee and brunch café. Since we’re not that big, we work closely together on all tasks as a team. The main focus of this role is on the coffee, but the day can be versatile and could include baking our homemade cakes and cookies, as well as preparing sandwiches. We also share responsibility for keeping everything clean. All in all, we support each other wherever needed.

We’re a specialty coffee bar, and our goal is to serve the very best coffee in Maastricht. That’s why we only hire experienced baristas.

If you have solid coffee knowledge, know how to dial in espresso, maintain consistent quality, and create latte art (hearts, tulips, rosettas), we’d love to hear from you.

Espresso Quartier is currently a cozy daytime spot, known for our great coffee and homemade cakes. We’re open every day from 8am to 6pm, but exciting things are coming!

We’re about to transform our evenings into a warm, lively wine and cocktail bar, open daily from 6pm to 23pm.

To make this happen, we’re looking for an experienced bartender to join our team.

What you’ll do

• • Serve wines, cocktails, and evening drinks

• • Share your passion for wine (and know your way around a wine list!)
